If you liked my MobiPocket to PalmDoc converter,
you'll love the new GPX to PalmDoc converter. It's
faster and more customizable than the Mobi converter, and you'll never have to
upload your pocket queries to my site again. As an added bonus, you can
turn off the "eBook" option on your Pocket Queries.
If you can, I strongly urge you to use the 'palmdoc' output functionality in GPSBabel instead of GPXDoc. It's better written and works on operating systems besides Windows, and it doesn't care about IE security settings.
To use it:
This will only work with IE 5.something or later with MSXML 3.0 installed. Note that it depends on the HTML file and the DLLs being in your trusted security zone, which is why it has to be on a local drive. Depending on your security settings, it may still pop up one or more security warnings; you can decide for yourself whether you trust me enough to say "ok."
If you don't like the format of the individual cache pages, you can change it by editing gpxdoc.xsl. If you don't like the names of the bookmarks, you'll have to edit gpxdoc.html, but be warned that only the first 16 characters of a bookmark entry get used anyway.
